I have suffered from uterine fibroids for many years.
I have suffered from fibroids for many years.
I tried acupuncture to see if it would help. My symptoms made me
have to urinate frequently during the night. My monthly cycle was
always with heavy bleeding. My abdomen was very bloated. My stomach
is distended and the fibroid is bigger than a grape fruit.
After one treatment I could tell that my
abdomen was not as tight and my urination at night has decreased. I
feel a lot better and my last cycle was vastly improved with less
blood loss. I am looking forward to continuing my treatments- I
highly recommend this path to wellness.
Fibroids- Uterine
fibroids
The symptoms of
fibroids:
·
Heavy bleeding: may have heavy or prolonged menstrual
bleeding.
·
Pressure in lower abdomen or pelvic region
·
Acute or severe pain in pelvic area
·
Frequent urination or more bladder pressure
·
Low back pain
·
Rectal pressure: constipation, hemorrhoid, painful
bowl movement
Fibroids are benign growths within the uterus
that often start during the childbearing years. Uterine fibroids
are not cancerous growths and not associated uterine cancer. Even as
many as 30% of women have fibroids, but most are unaware because
fibroids usually have no symptoms. Most of the time, uterine
fibroids cause not symptoms and seldom needs treatment, but when
symptoms developed, women should require medical treatment.
Generally in western medicine, the surgery or
medication can remove or shrink fibroids, but patients would have to
suffer side effects or experience the reoccur.
At Houston Acupuncture and Herb Clinic we apply
the acupuncture and natural Chinese medicine to reduce the fibroids
without the side effects from hormonal replacement medication, in
addition we follow up with patient’s dietary guideline to prevent
future reoccurrence. Most of our patients experience extraordinary
results for short time of treatments.
